Is the antenna assembly held down with adhesive tape or does it clip into the hole? Just wondering. I went back to washing in the driveway when I bought my Ranger and I would agree the stubby antenna would be necessary to go into a car wash.

The Ranger hasn't moved in 3? weeks, so I took it for a drive today. It has 1,997 miles on it now I snapped a picture out on the street while checking the mailbox. The lovely wife reminded me once I got inside that today is Columbus Day, lol. Look at that sporty Supercab! :D

As others have already said, the dealer has to program it. I used some of the 32,000 Fordpass points that I got for purchasing the truck to pay for the programming. The truck is now a year old and I've never had situation that required it, but it's there.

I think it was 19 miles? It was a custom order. I had given the salesman a list of things not to do when it arrived. No dealer decals, no license plate frame, and no other customers taking my truck for test drives. Judging from everyone's responses, they did what I asked. :)
