I didn't have a reason to get the Ranger out on my weekly day off last Friday, but I did drive it around the neighborhood this afternoon. The wife even came along.
OK, here's my Friday post, lol.
It was a very good morning to drive the Ranger. It went from hoodie to t-shirt weather PDQ.
I went to the square in Olde Town Covington to get my haircut, stopped by Ace Hardware to ask about getting a piece of glass cut, then breakfast at McDonalds, then...
This was actually on Friday, but the Ranger got driven to the bank and the Walmart. Real exciting, I know, lol. It now has 2,300 miles on it. :O
I've had it since October 2020 and I think this is the third time it's been driven in the rain. Darn it, the bottom is going to get dirty. :(
Look...
The wife and I were never big moviegoers to begin with, but the big TV and sound bar downstairs in the "Man Room" means no more theater visits.
We can pause a movie on DVD if needed and we don't have to deal with the general public. They're not known for having an shred of common courtesy...or...
The Ranger got driven this morning. :O
We're supposed to get snow here in GA on Saturday or Sunday, so that means everyone goes panic shopping.
I was going shopping anyway because I don't work on Fridays and I needed to go to the bank, I owed the lovely wife money.
I stopped and made a...
There is no way I could do what is pictured here. If parking spaces were around 30% bigger?
Yes.
Until that happens, I'll continue with my protective parking techniques. Gotta keep it dent free.
:D
The wife asked me to go into town and pick up a prescription, so the Ranger got to move for the first time in two weeks.
I got to pass some fool that was more concerned with the contents of his or her floorboards and I'm sure the Ford Performance Borla Exhaust made him/her flinch as I roared...
No pictures, but I removed the aftermarket bubble mirrors that I had installed on the Copilot 360 rear view mirrors last year.
They were very necessary on my previous vehicle (01 Bullitt GT) but they really don't improve the rear view for the Ranger at all. Maybe it's because the Ranger mirrors...
I didn't click.
So...if he has no vehicle, how does he get anywhere? Does he just walk the earth like that guy that choked himself to death while playing with himself?
The Ranger got it's first oil change this morning.
The "change oil soon" alert came up a month or so back, even though it had only 2K on it. Ford apparently recommends changing the oil once a year.
Reaching the oil filter wasn't as bad as I was expecting. While it was up on the ramps, I...
You just made me remember the creeper that is slid in between the wall and my air compressor. I always reach for my cardboard, lol.
Very good looking steps, by the way.
Same here. I did some incredibly stupid things in my '86 Ranger and '67 Mustang Fastback 30+ years ago. I'm glad no one was around with a camcorder.
If that was me in the Bronco, I would be embarrassed to have it on YouTube or Yahoo News.
And I sure as hell wouldn't be saying anything that...
I did something I normally don't do. I drove the Ranger at night. :O
The lovely wife and I went out to eat this evening and stopped by the Walgreens on the way back home.
She bought me dinner because I did the oil change on her Ford Escape this morning. ❤️
No pictures this time. It was dark...
I pulled the Ranger out of the garage and popped the Nationwide SmartMiles module into the port under the dash. Then I warmed the truck up and took it for a short drive in the neighborhood.
According to the instructions, now I gotta make a few trips during the next few days in order for it to...
I wonder how long he'll have to wait for parts?
I know everyone says "more money than brains," but he's probably just another guy that never pays a vehicle or home off. Forever in debt. Ruining a new Bronco for the e-lolz is some additional drama.
He might want to consider a future in mall...
Their website is kinda squirrelly, hopefully the link will work.

I actually bought mine off of Amazon. ($299 shipped) They make them for other vehicles, too, so make sure you're getting one for a 2019+ Ranger.
It...
It got driven around 60 miles this morning. :O
I got my haircut a couple towns over, then breakfast, then back home and loaded up/delivered some Christmas gifts for a local org that helps kids get placed in foster homes. It's something the wife and I do every year instead of buying each other...
