All sport mode is a different level of throttle sensitivity and a propensity to hold gears longer. This will not harm your vehicle in itself. Slamming on the throttle and burning out off of every light/stop sign will reduce the life of your vehicle. This is a user choice and if you chose to run...
At full lock, I sometimes get some rub in reverse, but it is super minimal and not on the frame. I really do like the setup and the truck is great on long hauls as well as offroad. I've done a large part of the maze district in southern UT as well as some of the reasonable stuff from the back...
Now, if you could find out if the upper and lower control arms from the f150 raptor fit... We would have a cheap and "easy" long travel set up
Good luck with the measurements and if they fit that could be cool.
See my earlier post, you can get a 33" if you go with a 255 cross section. Just did a ton of driving out in canyon lands and Moab and the truck was killer with it's Cooper St maxx
Always good to be loved! I think their fit and finish is legit, but not a fan of the digressive valving. Fox with the clickers gives you some more options. Frankly ones I may never use to their fullest potential, but hey, I like to pose ;)
Dent happened months ago and there were no cracks, the dealer ship in the town I'm passing through thought the way it failed was suspect. Ford agreed after we removed the assembly and saw no damage to the housing.
Just started a long road trip and after 10 hours on i80, I realized I don't have a rear tail light cover. Not sure if this is a whole unit or if the cover is replaceable.
Anyone have any experience with fixing/replacing these?
I've found going up to E Load tires and running 38 in the front and 34 in the rear if the bed is empty or low weight. This has made the truck feel great both on and off road.
Clarification: I air down to around 20 when offroad, don't ruin trails with street pressures folks!
I'm not super concerned in speed of shifting, this has been the best auto I've ever owned, However I do a lot of driving down steep grades and the shift buttons on the selector feel really far away and weird compared to the manual in my other car. Just want to separate the experiences even more.
Been thinking on this, likely, would have to find a ranger raptor wheel from another market and have it shipped here... or maybe the f150 raptor's wheel might be able to be adapted to our trucks... Anyone with any knowhow on the wiring on these trucks would be really helpful here!
I'm wondering if anyone has had the same dream of having paddle shifters on the Ranger to make offroading and long hill descents more engaging. I have no idea if this is possible or what it would entail and wanted to ask the group!
I found going to a heavier tire, Load E, made the truck calm down a whole lot. Also it drives way better when loaded, because it is a truck. Also, what is your tire pressure, I found 33 to be to low, but above 40 to be too high. Another thing that helped was to go with a higher psi in the...
Slightly off topic, but did any of you weigh the bumper after you pulled it off? I'm trying to get an idea of how heavy it is and the delta between it and an aftermarket plate bumper
I've been poking around, but haven't seen anything regarding a true mid travel kit with remote reservoirs yet. I'd really like to build this out with some 2.5" shocks (king or fox with clickers) and get some additional capability out of this truck.
