  1. Tremors and high octane fuel

Of course there is variation, but I would think that most people who have tried both octanes can answer the simple question as it applies to their experience. I can.
  2. Tremors and high octane fuel

Not asking for a scientific analysis, just a simple answer to a simple question: does YOUR mpg change between low and high octane gas. It's kinda like asking the university presidents whether calls for genocide are appropriate on their campus. The answer is not "it depends of the context,"...
  3. New to the group, what I've done so far.

Did you use the up fitter switches on the dash to control the lights on the sport bar?
  4. Off-Roam phone holder

No, I prefer to use CarPlay -- bigger viewing area.
  5. Tremors and high octane fuel

Hmmm, maybe if I install a "solid" shaft drive everything will be fine.
  6. Tremors and high octane fuel

Hmmm, my credit card statement started to get mysteriously higher with 93 octane, and my back pocket became looser where I carry my wallet. How can this be? Could the high octane vapors be making my pants stretch? Is the electronic engine timing advancement with premium fuel somehow...

  13. Tremors and high octane fuel

How does your mileage vary based on octane? I'm not asking about driving habits or conditions -- those do not vary for me.
  14. Tremors and high octane fuel

Please answer the question. How does YOUR mileage vary?
  15. Tremors and high octane fuel

Many folks here have reported better mileage and better acceleration on their Ford Rangers when switching to higher octane fuel. I drive a Tremor and constantly monitor my mpg and reset it after going through a tank of gas. I just finished up a tank of 93 octane fuel, and was shocked that my...
  16. Battery Replacement Recommendations

Doesn't disconnecting a battery even for a short period of time mess up the electronics of the Ford Ranger? That is the reason I will have the dealer replace mine with a Motorcraft battery, they know how to reprogram the system --I don't :)
  17. Solid Drive Shaft for Tremor Having People

It doesn't hurt to ask the dealer about a problem with a truck still under warranty.
  18. Solid Drive Shaft for Tremor Having People

What does your dealer think of it? Are you going to put in a one-piece drive shaft?
