I have had similar errors, but under different circumstances. My issue was I had a rear light bar plugged into 4 pin connector. With it being plugged in the cover was pushing down on the wires which loosened or broke the wires. The errors would come and go with bumps in the road. Rewired the...
No input on shocks, but I like the idea of Icon rear leafs. Your setup with weight is similar to mine and I have Icon’s using option 2. Very happy with them I am running Fox 2.5 shocks front and rear.
I paid around $800 for the leafs just recently someone mentioned getting them for under $500 I...
Noises can be like a water leak with the problem not where you see or hear it. I wrote about it on another thread once had a noise on a F-150 would have bet my life savings it was from the rear. After much searching and frustration discovered it was the bushings on the front sway bar.
Thanks for the info.
I will mount the rear, higher up on center of bed rack I think. Will have to play with it a bit to find the best spot. With rack and tent sort of blind backing up. I have a taillight bar plugged into the 4 pin so I loose the backup sensors and guide lines. Might look into...
Thank You
Look forward to getting it installed this is one mod missing from my truck. I will post some pictures when installed, but that will not be until Sept as I am out of the country till then.
I retired in 2023 and then cashed out of So Cal, thought the housing bubble was going to burst. Yet somehow prices still kept going up. No idea how people afford to live there. I was lucky and had a VA loan in 1991 to purchase our home (only a townhouse with HOA) and stayed there for 35 years...
You will get over So Cal real soon once you’re gone. I moved out to WI, in 2023 after being there almost 45 years. Never really missed it once I was gone from there.
Do you know a secret how do you get 7% cash back? With the Citi card you get 5%. Are you adding the 2% for Executive membership, if so that does not apply to gas purchases.
That’s true, same as all other suspension components, but I get lazy and tighten all with impact super close then once lowered usually takes about a 1/4 turn with torque wrench. I do not worry about the lug nuts as I do with the other suspension fasteners.
All I know is I have a fairly heavy tire and rim combo almost 90lbs total, and using centering rings have never had any problems with vibration from the wheels. Just normal balancing and rotation.
The Ranger hub is 93.1mm most aftermarket rims I looked at where sized for a Toyota 106.1. For those you need the ring to reduce from 106.1 to 93.1 either aluminum or plastic. I like the aluminum option over plastic.
I know I was bummed when I realized my mistake. The rims without bead grip I air down to 15 with no issues. With the bead grip you would be safe down to 10. Seen a video where they went down to 5, but 10 would be the lowest for me.
