Actually Steve, if I remember correctly, the Gladiators come with an internal tailgate damper. When I get it, should I add another damper to help keep Dave profitable :giggle:
Hi Dennis,
The Gladiator has the freedom panels that can be removed in the summer for a convertible like open air experience. Plus, I like the endless availability of options. And the posts of late here about the transmission issues and the heat/AC vent failures, kind of have me a bit...
Well, I have decided that I am going to trade in the Ranger Tremor and get back into a Jeep Gladiator. I want to thank all of you for your kindness and helpful information that I have received from the forum. And a big thank you to our moderator Dave as he is one of the nicest guys I have ever...
Pulled the Ranger out of the garage so I could get the zero turn mower out to mow my yard. Finished the yard work, moved the zero turn mower back inside the garage and left the Ranger in the driveway. Then I made some dinner to eat and went outside afterword's to pull the Ranger back in the...
Well, I guess I am joining the "Bed Cap" crowd here sometime soon, or at least by the middle of next month hopefully. I ordered an ARE V Series cap today, so I don't have to crawl my old fanny under the tri-fold soft bed cover every time I want to get something out of my big toolbox, that is in...

Have to admit as much as I like my Ranger Tremor, I do like the Jeep Gladiators too. Both are very capable vehicles. I just am a bit concerned about all the transmission issues that have been talked about here lately on the Rangers.
To answer your question, Marc, I do not think so, however I have been surprised before. Even though this is not a concept by FMC, it looks cool (to me anyway), and I would like one if they built them. Kudo's to the guy that made the concept rendering. I am sure it took some time to make this...
Good idea and already did with Granger Ford just after I bought it. I drive it pretty easy and don't put a lot of miles on it or go off road, so I may be fine. Just a bit unnerving to see all the concerns here lately :frown:
Agreed Dave! In fact, with all the transmission issues here lately that the Rangers seem to be having it is making me wonder if I made the correct decision buying my Tremor. I was looking at maybe buying another Gladiator, but the prices are too high and the dealers that have left over new 2022...
