Hello All,
Took my Ranger into Discount Tire for an alignment (yes, some of them are doing alignments now). I got some of the STX wheels and the 18" tires that came with the seller's truck (6k mile Dueller H/Ts) and thought it would be good to get an alignment done.
These are the results I got...
Found a matching wheel. Bought a matching tire from Discount Tire and will do a 5 tire rotation.
Handed Discount Tire the 5 new sensors I received from TPMS.com. They replaced the 4 wrong sensors I had them install last week without any fuss.
I ended up going to TPMS.com and buying a set. Yours are 1/2 of what I paid (always great seeing other members share what has worked for them that is a money saving option...have to save that extra $ for all the other mods people share).
When I had Discount Tire install the sensors, I just handed them what I received (I hadn't even bothered to see what they were....I know rookie mistake). Was able to contact the seller of the wheels and he sent a picture of what he bought. According to TPMS.com looks like they are for an F150...
Ran through the TPMS relearn procedures (Ford tire pressure tool...and letting air out). Neither of them worked. Wondering if I should take the sensors out of my old wheels or purchase a set from TPMS.com (ordered a sensor from them for my spare to do a 5 tire rotation....truck picked it up and...
An older pic before some of my updates.
Discount Tire put these "new to me" wheels and tires on. These were on Facebook Marketplace that I got a really good deal on (apparently the tires only have 6k on them). Drove 3 hours each way to pick them up this weekend. Came with new TPMS...
Received a letter from State of Texas to renew my DL. They are asking to see Social Security Card...come on Texas I already passed a background check for my License to Carry...aren't those things linked?.....next it will be DNA swab (maybe that will be taken at the DMV?)
We can all thank Greg Abbot (governor of Texas) for this collecting of sales tax on internet sales mess. When he was the AG he went after Amazon to collect TX sales tax.
Arlyn, you all dealing with an over abundance of ticks in Houghton County? I was up in the U.P. earlier this month....went out with my dad to check our hunting spot in NW Delta County....went about 10 yards in and had to turn around and leave. Within that short distance we already had numerous...
