There's more but these should be enough to get you started (no pun intended)
Yeah, a few times a year. Android here. It takes shutting off the engine, pulling the ign key and waiting a couple of minutes before mine will reset. I can unplug the usb connection and plug it back in, but I always have to stop and shut down for a couple of minutes to get it to reboot.
I'm coming late to this party, but as suggested I searched a few Aussie wrecking yards and found a handful of complete 10R80 trannys: they ALL have the same stubby dipstick the NA rangers do. Y'all are welcome check yourselves. I VPN'd about 8: UK, Europe, Indonesia, the UAE and a bunch more. I...

Yes. Just a suggestion. From experience, O-ring alignment can be a bit troublesome if the receiving component is not chamfered or a bit wider at the opening. A sleeve on the funnel taper would ease insertion because the dipstick tube itself has parallel sides. The recess in my very poor drawing...

Yes, you should be pissed, but 2k miles later is a hard sell. The dealer may of may not admit fault and cover the repair. You can buy a touch-up vile of Ford Magnetic Gray #J7 / 7325 touch-up paint for less than $25 from the dealer or from any of several on-line shops that carry Motorcraft parts...
I've not done it, but other Ford forums recommend disconnecting both battery terminals and tapping them together to quickly bleed-off residual capacitance. That's supposed to reset the BCM and erase "trash" memory. Try AYOR
My house was built in the early fifties when cars were 12' wide but it barely fit my wife's '87 'stang. I can fit 2 motos in there, but it's basically a laundry room/tool chest now.
The EPA has been doing this stuff since the 70's (thanks to Richard Nixon). I remember my first taste of EPA regulation when I had to get a NOx device for my '70 Chevelle in 1977. When I swapped the stock CVCC head in my '77 Honda Civic for a 1975 non-CVCC head so i could run a hot cam and dual...
