I ran a K&N on stock tune and premium gas with no issues. Like others said put some premium in and maybe some dry gas mix.

$45 with shipping.

Throwing in 2 air filters. One stock and one K&N oiled high flow.

I like it. My butt dyno says it made acceleration litte quicker and it added a little more snarl to my borla exhaust.
