Well it keeps getting better. Picked it up Friday night drive her into work on Saturday and theres a small puddle of oil under the truck. Get under and oil all over the place. Hopefully they failed to clean it up after the tear down, but oil level dropped a tad. Also appears they damaged and...
So, after 5 weeks I get the call the truck is ready. Go by after hours and pick it up and a few weird noises but I figure it has been sitting for 5 weeks. Drive it the 65 mile to work and get a nice gas smell when I get there. Turn it off and notice a nice bue mark in the rain puddle. Pop the...
Unleashed, mild perf. tune. I would not blame this on the tune from Torrie. I drive her pretty hard, so a 3900 repair cost is the cost of doing business.
Yes, tuned since 5k, I believe it happened a few months ago. Took it in for an overheat and they blamed it on the turbo issue and they put a new one in. It has dropped approx. a quart of fluid since then. They claimed no scoring when they scoped it, but will know when they tear it down.
Took her into the dealer to look for a coolant leak, at first they came back with small crack in the reservoir, wouldn't open up until heated up and under pressure. They ordered a new tank and low and behold they left it pressurized over night and still dropped fluid. Well that sucks.
It was a loosing proposition for them, warranty is unlimited years miles, My last Colorado had 250k on it when I traded it for the Ranger. Hopefully will not have to use it much, this was the first issue.
Dealer offer a lifetime warranty, cost me $370.00, $100 deductable and it doesn't cover various gaskets and hoses. Better than the $2700.00 the bill was.
Mine has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now.
Misfire #1, overheating code. Went into limp mode pulled off, turned it off and started right back up. Temp gauge was normal. drove it home and no issue. Couple days later same thing on hard acceleration with a good amount of smoke on start up.
