Just found some info on another ranger forum but the earlier rangers. They used the module from a Taurus/crown Vick or mustang.. no info on the newer rangers..mine is a 21..

So what was your total in US dollars,. I already installed the icon springs and though the ride is much better the squeak and having to grease them now and then is a PIA..
I have been watching/reading this thread and had my truck back to the dealer 2 different times and got the usual answer “they can’t replicate the problem” My ranger is a 21 with 5000 miles on it and thinking of ordering the sensor and doing the install myself.

I have that bump on stoping and starting and have the TW shaft, Icon rear springs and shocks. I honestly don’t think it’s the slip joint in the shaft. I cleaned the splines totally and put it together dry and there is very little movement And the over size of the splines is more than enough to...
I’m ready to pull my Icon spring out and put the stock springs back in or purchase a used set of Tremor springs..
They are over an inch higher with 140 pounds in the bed and they squeak over every bump. I greased the pads on the springs but they still squeak and I hate it..

It cooled off here for today so driving with the windows open and now I have a squeak coming from the springs. If i push down do on the rear bumper to move the suspension in the rear it squeaks. Great now I have another project to fix.. anyone else have an issue with the noise?
my stock springs are not sagged at all. I was trying to get rid of the bouncing and rocking and installed shocks also..I’m measuring before and after spring change. And the bump stops are a mile from the spring.
I have 330 lbs in the back for a couple weeks now..I’ll pull it out and see where it ends up but its at least an 1 1/4 higher than it was. wonder where they get the .37 higher than stock?
I used to drag race and built a lot of power glides. Did quiet a few 4L60’s and 4L80’s and a few turbo 350’s…
What I would like to know is how they get 10 speeds out of
4 planetary’s. What gears are using them

I have a 21 FX4 Larait and had to do the TW drive shaft rear shocks and Icon springs,all made a big improvement.
