Here’s your icons that don’t squeek. I removed them and added F150 spring plastic spacers to stop the squeak. Oh and Icon says they dont have any complaints about that.

Tony, Did you get to see if the mounting area of the cover is different than later models.

This is the best I could do without pulling the tensioner off..I see ribs in the cover and looks like it’s wedged in there on the back side that I circled.

Also some said there was a difference in the later years on that support that holders the tensioner. I have a 21 so what’s the difference. I’ll get a pic of mine and post it and can someone with a 19 do the same so we can compair if there really is a difference in the cover.

Looking to service my trans and there is lots of different ones at way different price points. Rock auto, Hastings that comes with filter,gasket and seal for $30. And then there’s a motorcraft that you only get a fiter for$56. Those that have Did service on there trans what did you go with?

Knowing what you know about the ”how to” do the tube it should be a bit easer to do knowing what ”works”. I have a couple friends here with F150’s waiting for it..
