I don't know how often a solution is like this used in other vehicles/manufacturers but it certainly looks like a Mickey Mouse idea.

Looks like that's to disable Factory Mode, not disable the stop/start feature

How has the topper affected vision to the rear of the vehicle? The ranger has a large open field of vision, while my wife's explorer is like looking out portholes.

If you have a 4WP nearby, I believe they CHECK alignment for free. most alignment shops, once it's on the rack whether they have to adjust much or not it still costs the same.
