Interesting, i would think the wiring between the two would be the exact same. Seems a lot of extra manufacturer work to make a slight change like that. Usually LED draws less amperage than halogen, so I would think LED bulbs would be just fine.

Anyone with a crew cab wish they went with a super? Or vic versa? I am leaning to a super for more bed space. Single dude here with no kids. Maybe a dog in the near future.

Yes very good point. However, isn't that a 'standard' on the Lariat, but an option on the XLT? I do believe the fully optioned XLT still requires a actual key whereas the Lariat just has a push button? But I'm not confident on that....
