I've been doing it with the gate open. But it has latched while the gate was up and then popped open while driving. I will try it!

Yeah, I now hear the loud click of it latching and then lightly bump my hand on top of it to see if it will stay shut and it just immediately comes undone. I have tried playing with the tension to see if thats it but I can't get it figured out.

I have read through these and if anyone is still following, I have a Lo-pro and it fits perfectly, the seal is there, but after just a few routine bumps on the road it becomes unlatched. Anyone have any ideas why?
