My 2 cents: 1 hour to the south of me is the largest refinery in eastern Canada. Tankers with every brand name imaginable fill up there. Based on that, I don’t believe there is a difference between brands. I do run 91 in my truck, have never seen 93 offered here.

Check you owners manual. The procedure is laid out there, and easy to do.

My truck tells me when it needs an oil change. Who am I to argue with the peeps who engineered it? I too experienced additional oil draining from the pan after filter removal, but 5.9 litres filled it without over filling. Tires get rotated during the seasonal change over.
