As far as I can see, numbers are based on total mileage. (Work van can reset fuel economy, I’ve not found that ability in the Ranger settings. Others may educate me.)

Summer time when I’m commuting to the cottage on weekends I get around 10.4L/100km. This time of year with studded tires and almost exclusively city driving I’m at 11.2L/100km and climbing. Yes, I’d consider it normal.
