We live out in the country with woods, ponds/marshes/swamps, farmer's fields, etc. and have lots of critters around here. I park in the garage but have three of those electronic devices plugged in - the ones that send out an ultrasonic sound wave that is uncomfortable to mice. So far, so good...
Nice Looking Ranger! I added the black Ranger letters to my tailgate, along with the engine cover and it instantly added 50 HP! Not sure if the tuner asks if you have those mods or not. I love the damper too, but think it may have stripped me of those 50 HP. Oh well . . . Even Steven!
Damn mice fried the motherboard for our house's A/C over the winter - $800 later and our A/C was working again. We live out in the country with woods around us. I've trapped/killed almost a dozen mice by the outside A/C unit. They can sure create problems.
Years ago I found a mouse in my car...
I think the damper was the first accessory I purchased, followed by a bed mat/tailgate mat, tonneau cover, mud guards, an extension cord for pulling trailers, as most trailer wiring harnesses do not reach the plug-in in the bumper, engine cover (added 50 instant horse powers, and damn, it looks...
I recently had A/C work done on my 2021 Ranger. The expansion valve was faulty and in one day, the dealership had the valve delivered and ready to install. The dilemma - the seals/gaskets needed to install the expansion valve were on back order. I first brought my truck in middle of May and...
No - the expansion valve was faulty. They were able to get the valve ordered right away but it did not come with the seals, and they were back-ordered for a couple months. They finally arrived so the repair was completed on Monday, July 25, 2022. I was able to use the A/C because they...
I feel your pain (and heat). I had to move my son back from college after he graduated and that was a hot ride - two hours in each direction. When the new dealership found the problem, they at least had to charge the system to find the leak, so I did have A/C until the parts came in to fix it.
When I first brought my Ranger in, the A/C was not working at all and the compressor shut down because the refrigerant had all leaked out. Not sure if there was enough dye in the system at that point, so that's why they charged the system, added dye and then found the leak.
Update to the Update . . . The A/C parts - Expansion valve and seals finally arrived last Friday and I now have a fully working air conditioning system again. The valve was in weeks ago but no seals, so that is what I was waiting on.
I bought the genuine Ford tailgate letters - black, and they have been fine. When installing, I actually removed my tailgate, laid a blanket down on the kitchen Island, and it made it a lot easier to apply the stickers. I believe the set I purchased had Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing...
Update to the Update . . . Still no cold air flowing after the dealership I purchased my Ranger from said nothing was wrong. I took my Ranger to a different dealership and they found the problem. An expansion valve in the A/C system was leaking. They ordered a new part and it should be here...
