    replacement blower was put in before purchase of the vehicle, but was suspect of being bad also. Inspection showed it to be from good stock., so don' t need to replace it. :)

    took it in for fan blower recall. awaiting results.

    just a note .... RR bolts directly to the frame only. They do require drilling 12 holes tho.
  10. Ranger performance at altitude

    I drive the front range n get 20+ mpg. Lately Been regularly going to 9k alt. No power issues for sure, even when towing 2-3k trailer. Mpg's hold up well on the hills too. Some steeper spots where i come across slow people in the "wrong" lane ... easy to pass. Compared to what I've driven...

    Put a little load on it n drove around for an hour ... ok, there was a destination. Little Ranger did well.
  12. Any winch mods out there?

    can't fabricate my own, so would lean toward the "front runner" and add a receiver to it instead of a winch. Then have the mobile winch option to work at the front or the back.

    Wow you went above and beyond. Thanks. The reason i asked was because you mentioned recovery gear, and some of the recovery stuff i have seems kinda heavy (like my tow strap and bow shackles). Thanks again!
