64 days of ownership, and have only had the truck in my hands for just over 3 weeks. It's like I'm renting a bay at the dealership. The current situation is.... The new transmission was installed, now they are having starter issues. I'm waiting on ford Customer Care to call back. This truck...
#1 I'm interested in this, it would be awesome to put 2 10"s in that space.
#2 I noticed how useless the rear slider was, so I opted out of that option.
So, can someone measure the gap in the bumper hole on each side of the ACC module for me, height and width? I am working 200 miles from my truck. I have a camping trip coming up and want to install lights in the bumper. I'd like to order the lights so that they will be delivered before the trip...
Update: Dealership 2 had to contact Ford because...... dealership 1 initially replaced the output shaft seal. Unfortunately the tech stripped a drain plug. For a fix he used rtv and bolted everything back up and called it good. So, instead of retapping the plug hole, Ford and dealership 2...
No "chill" needed. I just dropped a ton of cash for a product I can't use. In Arizona if you take some back 3 times it's a lemon. I've only had my truck in my hands for 3 weeks since I bought it in March. I had to take rentals on trips that couldn't make it to the final destination because of...
I disagree. I'm not going to drive my truck for 1 week, take it back to the dealership for 3 weeks until they fix it again for the rest of the life of the truck. If it happens again, I will be doing a lemon law. There's not 1800 miles on the truck yet. I paid way too much money for this kind of...
Update... Same prognosis as last time. Leak at the output shat seal. Techs sent a request to Ford to come up with a solution. I say, throw a new transmission in and let me finally drive my truck more than 800 miles without taking it in for more warranty work.
I really hope that they figure it out. In the meantime, I'm in a brand new Mustang. That should do really well on the back roads when I go camping. Lol.
4th gear and 7th gear at low rpms. Evwn a little in 10th at 75. I can speed up or slow down and it goes away. But, I'm having plenty of other transmission issues that may be related.
