So, what is the difference between the FORD RANGER NATION and the Ford Ranger Nation facebook groups?
I mean beside the Capitalization, the number of members and the date on which they were created?
I concur with items 1 and 3.
I wouldn't need 26 gallons but I sure would like to have a range of over 400 miles on a full tank.
The cooling seats and heated steering wheel I have gotten used to on my bride's car and really like them.
What will really piss me off is if they show up on the 2020...
The Flag letters are now available. I ordered a set last night. Not sure when they will arrive or when I get around to installing them.
I need to check with my auto detailing 'guy'. I had the truck ceramic coated and want to determine if I can adhere to the coating, or if I should remove coating...
Sid,
About those tie-downs I see surrounding the bed rails. Are they just tie-downs? Or, are they part of a tonneau cover assembly?
Regardless, where did you find them?
I sent a note to Support for the web site that makes the letters (BDTrims.com) and they replied that they are in the process of adding the flag style to their line but not yet ready. I guess I will wait to see if I like what they will offer when they get it done.
That IS what I am looking for and that company does have them for the Ranger, BUT they don't offer it in the flag motif like they do for the Tundra and Tacoma. It looks like I will have to contact them directly to custom order what I want.
I recently did a remote start. While I was away at dinner with the bride, I remembered I had not retracted the mirrors (I do it to give more clearance between truck and garage refrigerator). As we drove in the neighborhood tract, I remote started the truck so I could just reach through open...
I am trying to find a set of letters with the U.S. flag motif. The first two letters would have the blue w/ stars and the remaining would have the red/white stripes. They are available for Tundra's and Tacoma's, but have been unable to fine any for the Ranger. Grrr!
I like the function of the disable circuit. It does’t permanently disable the feature. It just remembers the current status of the feature when you turn off the truck and re-establishes that same status at next ignition start. So the feature is still there to be used if you want it.
Nice info to know. I had been wondering before I took mine through a 'touch-less' car wash. I have already installed a stubby antenna but that was done for 'looks'.
I wished extender from the Trac was useable on my Ranger. I liked the shape, mounting and look of the Trac extender better than the Ranger style. Plus, I had some custom brackets that allowed me to secure the extender in a vertical position when carrying items that fit inside the with the...
I can relate. I was pretty comfortable getting into my old Sport Trac but this new Ranger definitely takes a truck sized effort to climb into, and I am not a short person either. Never have been a fan of running boards but I sure think about them when I have to haul my butt up into the truck.
The main reason I put a Bed Extender on was for it to provide a corral to hold things from sliding too far out of reach. I had one in my Sport Trac and found I really liked it's usefulness.
I keep my left display showing digital MPH because it it just just so much easier to quick glance at it instead of having interpret what the speedo is showing. To know what the RPMs are, I configured fuel gauge to split and also show the RPMs in the same space.
I agree. If the road is very smooth, so is the ride. If not, the truck bounce a LOT and wanders quite a bit. Especially at freeway speed.
My truck did come with over-inflated tires (45 psi) but lowering to correct value did not help. Even lowering to 32 psi showed no improvement. I am getting...
