I retired from the Army Nurse Corps and debt free as well. It is heavenly. I still work as a RN, but part time and I pick my hours. Work more in winter when less to do outside. Now in spring...maybe 1-2 days a week. Love it.
I would argue it is even worse than sitting in a car. I had a 2012 taco off road and I would actually get claustrophobic in it. Two major issues..I was sitting on the floor and when I looked forward I was looking through the top of the windshield through the tint. And when I would pull up to...
I had a 2012 Tacoma TRD Off Road that I sold when I got my Ranger. I am 6'3 and it was the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever owned and it wasn't even close. When I would just sit normal I was looking through the top of the windshield where the shade was. And you are right about stop...
That is a good story! I loved those old Isuzus.. I lived in Scottsbluff Nebraska and we used to have fun just blasting around in it. Simpler times for sure.
My first vehicle was a 1990 Isuzu reg cab 4x4 truck. I loved that thing. For some reason the Ranger "kind" of reminds me of it. My Ranger is paid for so I won't be looking for a new one for a loooong time.
I think I am going to order this one. Is it off center from the rear view mirror where you mounted it? Do you have it to the right or left of the rear view mirror?
I had a 2012 Taco TRD Off Road. I am 6'3 and I instantly thought "this cab is weird", but "Toyota" right? Soon I would actually get claustrophobic in it. When I sat I was looking through the top of the windshield where the shading was. When I pull up to stop lights I would have to bend my...
I am a single dude with a dog. No kids. I use it for camping, kayaking, hiking. I don't need a massive truck to do that. So much easier to live with day to day for me.
I sold my 2012 Tacoma TRD off road and bought a 20 Ranger. It was because I am 6'3 and I never fit right in the Tacoma. I was looking through the top of the windshield. And I loved the turbo. I am not a brand guy. I just want whatever is best for me. If Tacoma ever made the cab for normal...
They are. When people talk about fuel economy on mid sizers like it should be some huge difference from full size really it is better to compare them to like mid 2000s full sizers which they do get better much better gas mileage.
I am 6'3 and I fit great. I sold my 2012 tacoma which was horrible for seating. A big reason I bought the Ranger was seating comfort. When I was in the Tacoma my head basically touched the top and I was looking through the top of the windshield and I would get claustrophobic. I am totally...
I am going to be going from the 18s that came on my Ranger to 17s. Just curious will this affect my speedometer accuracy or any issues this will cause? Thanks
Agree on the tire rotations it really makes a difference. I got a flat in the middle of nowhere here in a state forest after a night of camping and I had this brief moment where I was like "damn I hope the spare is good to go". I was lucky, because I just assumed it was. As far as maintenance...
Just curious anything other than normal maintenance anyone can think of I should be keeping an eye on at 26,000 miles? 2020 FX4 Lariat. I live in Wisconsin and getting ready for the upcoming winter. I keep an eye and have changed air filters and what not. Just thinking I maybe overlooking...
I was mocked for this before, but on my 2020 Ranger there are two areas I have a bad fit. It is the hood and the tailgate. They are both aluminum. Everything else is steel right? Could that have something to do with it? I mean it seems crazy, but it is odd to me.
Mine is the same way. There are two parts of my Ranger with misalignment. The hood and then the tailgate has gaps. Also these are the two parts made from aluminum. I was laughed at before for mentioning it, but it does seem odd. Otherwise it is solid.
