Only ordered the unit so far and haven’t decided. I seldom use 91 octane fuel, usually 89. Mainly interested in towing more than top-end performance.
I am still happy and it towed very well. Just a trade off I guess on mileage vs power. The 2011 F150 5.0 seemed to work harder (it does have 100k on it).
Just was hoping for 10mpg. Will see how it does tomorrow on more interstate travels.
Towed from Beaver Bend State Park to Eufaula State Park (177ish miles) and got 8.7 MPG (computer) with 87 in the tank. I tried to maintain 65 with cruise but quickly had to turn it off. Let’s just say power isn’t an issue but maintaining speed on rolling hills was too much for cruise control...
I am going to install without the main spring and run that way for a while and see how it compares to stock before going to “sport mode”.
I was concerned about how many times I would be able to use bolts vs screws.
