Seems like it would be easy enough to pull 12V from the bed plug if you have the factory plug that comes with the drop-in bed liner. Seems like the harness would be close still if your truck didn't have it, and you could add it.

Pendaliner must be making the stock bed liners for the Ford "Bed Protection" package. Your Pendaliner looks looks identical to my stock Ford one.

I had a chance to look at this today for you while I was installing my taligate damper. The screws that hold on the tailgate liner are T-20 Torx heads. I don't know what the threads are, but the screws are .800" long, and they have these metal cup washers with them too. Hope this helps?

Block heater in S. Texas? Yeah you won't use it. I live in a much colder climate and I can say the block heater is not really needed. With my Ranger, 2 minutes warm up and you already got heat in the cabin. It's amazing how fast these newer (aluminum) engines warm up & transfer heat.

Just found a new minor annoyance. The clock did not adjust itself back an hour for the end of daylight saving time today. It took a manual adjustment. Surprised by this since it gets GPS time and uses it to set the clock.
