In the past I've just used PVC pipe and angled them to sit over the tailgate. But if going straight up is what you wanna do just beware of going through the drive-thru, I lost 2 eyes on a rod, thankfully I had 2 smaller rods laying in the bed or It would've been a bad morning
The only problem I have with this (OCD starting to kick in) is that the ends dont reach the tires, that's it like idk why I do this to myself. If anyone can 3D print the ends I'd totally buy these. And get them painted magnet down the road sometime later if needed.
NEVER bruh even with all these logos idk if people are blind or straight oblivious I've been getting "compliments" on the color idk if I should even take these "compliments" as they think it's a tacoma or colorado, hell I've even been mistaken for a tundra once, my face went blank as I turned...
Luckily here we rarely see large animals running wild just a few small cars. Just tell your insurance you tried to get the deer's info but it ran off.:giggle:
Im a bit OCD and thinking about doing the DIY light strips on both sides. After I save up for that retrax tonneau cover. Having a dead spot would drive me nuts. I'd even go as far as adding some inconspicuous lights under the bumper, never hurt to see where, what, or even who I'm standing...
They sell aftermarket dust caps on amazon pretty cheap. I got the car rover set, except I wouldn't recommend them, the bulb for the low beam is off center and doesn't quite fit right. Just measure it out and give the other options a try I've seen em as low as $4
Happens to me all the time not from the turn but during hard acceleration after the turn. Not one for reckless driving but, to this day, the power this stock 4 banger truck puts down on the fly still amazes me
I beleive the lower resolution helps with getting better real time video.
I have a hard time trusting these rear cameras, I had a 2015 Corolla fo a little while and had a hard time getting use to using it, then one day I guess it froze or started to lag when I was backing out a parallel stall...
Blackvue is the winner for resolution if that's what you want but it is a bit pricey and doesn't really offer much more than other dashcams can give. And tbh I also chose it because it just looks aesthetically nicer than all the other options...though no one else will probably look at it, I have...
The only thing keeping me from buying one of these is if a tune can do the same thing. I wouldnt want to buy it then get the tuner and find out the tune does the same thing. Keep it posted and let us know your findings :like:
Yeah might be true, I barely noticed it with the stock audio set up, only on WOT. But now with subwoofers I just cant ignore it and always notice it even on idle
It's a really low frequency and I'm pretty sure my mic wont pick it up very well. But the best way to test it would be revving with a door slightly open(one click away from being closed) and then testing again with all doors closed. Make sure the radio is completely mute and I'm sure you'll have...
Imo...its pretty bad/annoying. Its not ridiculously loud but you "WILL" hear it everytime you start your truck, between song changes, and when the volume is turned down. Even on idle my subwoofers are being activated.
Good luck finding a subwoofer to fit that. I barely got my 8" Kicker L7Ts to fit. If I ever remake the box I would use slightly thinner MDF, airspace was a struggle trying to fit 2 subs.
