Noticed driving home that my driver side wiper blade was coming loose.
Sure enough when I got back home I was able to pull it all the way off.
I put it back but cannot get it to “click”.
Anyone else have this issue and should I swap them out for something better?
Has anyone used, or planning on using Amsoil HD MP, or similar on the underside of their Ranger? Also, is it needed if you live in an area that does not get much snow (I live in the Triangle area of NC).
I do live on a dirt road, so when it rains a lot of mud and debris gets kicked up and...
I think the cab of my ranger is pretty darn quiet. I can hear wind noise but it’s not whistling noise so I chalk it up to the fact it’s a truck. ?
Anyway, the only interior noise I hear is the adjustable seatbelt mount on the pillar. And since my ear is close to it, I can easily tell that is...
When I had Amsoil in my ranger I noticed it went down 1% for the very 100 miles.
Last week had an oil change and decided to try Castrol Edge for kicks. It’s gone down 2% already and I have t even gone 80 miles. Hmmm…. Maybe it does know oil brands! ?
I have the jackers (and mmp) but have yet to install them. Looks a little complicated right now with all the plastic trim.
I had a Kia Soul GT turbo that I was able to tilt the bottom seat cushion to my liking and I cannot with my Ranger.
The Ranger isn’t uncomfortable but could be a smidge...
So you don't need to remove the plastic trim like the instruction say, or if removing it will help line it up better? I may try to do mine this weekend, but I am nervous to try it and mess something up!
Anyone have these coasters? Or do you have a recommendation? I do like how the ones in the pic pretty much matches the truck and would add some small “pop” of color in my dark interior.
Also wouldn’t mind something Patriotic as well.
Thanks!
It’s actually been in twice for oil changes and some miscellaneous things things. Both at separate garages since I’m “interviewing” garages at the moment.
Same smell at both actually.
I did put in some “new car scent”vent clips on and that took care of smell but it’s more of a fresh scent, not...
Decided I’m just gonna wash the whole truck anyway because I realized, “what if I rained again tomorrow? I’ll be wet again anyway!” ?
But in the future there may be times I just wash the wheel wells. I don’t go off road, but I live on a dirt road, so I guess I always go off road. ?
Hand wash every other week weather permitting. Never to any car wash. It may be over a month between washes but in my past vehicles using the same method people would comment from time to time how my car looks so clean and shiny so I guess I do a somewhat decent job.
It’s been raining off and on past few days. Not terribly hard but driving around my wheel wells are dirty dirty dirty!
The rest of the truck not so bad because of the rain rinsing it off.
Anyone just wash the wheel wells and undercarriage only from time to time?
Also, anyone else whip out the...
Had an oil change done today (tried castrol edge this time with the Motorcraft filter), pulled a sample of old oil for a Blackstone Analysis, tires rotated, swing boxes installed (a part on drivers side is broken), and installed Auxito headlights and fog lights.
I contacted them just a little while ago to see if I can get some replacement hardware.
if the price isn’t too muchI’m going that route because overall my local dealership (who is also not that close) isn’t very inspiring to deal with. ?
Just got done sending them an email. ? hopefully I can get a replacement part pretty quick and not for a ton of dough.
Bright side is that m mechanic overall was pretty impressed with the design and thinks it’s a cool aftermarket product to have.
