I just bought new wheels so I no longer needs the spacers that come on my truck when I biught it. Great shape, with lug nuts etc. asking $175 obo shipped in lower 48.
As others have said, the specs are the same and they will just get it as close as possible. They may just have to work a bit harder than they want to get it there. Depending on the lift, you may actually want a bit more caster than oem. I would find a 4x4 shop and have them do it if the local...
I used one loaded with 5star tunes with my 2013 f150, and loved it. There weren’t as many options as there are now. The thing I liked about it was that it could be married and unmarried to different vins 5 times before you had to have it unlocked again. One at a time of couse. Now it seems most...
Thanks! I wish I still had it. Especially at this time of year. It sounds like you had one before, so you probably know this but if you are on a budget, rubicon takeofff suspension, hothead headliner and 15 minutes or so to change the over head and dash speakers will make a world of difference...
I came from a gladiator to the ranger, and it was a tough decision. I loved my gladiator but any drives over 2-3 hours became tedious and fatiguing, much less the occasional 14 hour drive from Texas to Illinois. If I could have two trucks, I would have never even considered selling my...
I have been thinking of shimming my carrier as well but can’t find a kit available. I had a significant decrease in shudder when I had my icon leafs installed and it feels that with just a bit more tweaking, it would be gone completely. I am trying to figure out a good way to shim without...
I have run 5100’s on several trucks in the past and loved them. As you mentioned, don’t set them on the highest levels and you will be fine. The middle setting is really the sweet spot with them. If it’s like my past experiences, You should have a noticeable improvement in ride quality and...
thanks for your perspective. Right now, as is, the 285’s poke out a bit with the spacers, so at least moderate flares could be beneficial. And I would venture to say it still looks good with them a bit outside. ;) To each their own, which is what makes personal touches and mods great, and I am...
I appreciate it. I will likely go with a different brand wheel and it has 1.5” spacers on it currently with factory wheels and a 3” lift. I am not wanting to go backwards and am looking for a similar or just a slightly wider/ agreessive stance, which is why I may be interested in flares. Sort of...
Just curious if you have installed the RTR flares yet, and if so, do you have any pics. I was about to pull the trigger on these along with some new wheels, but would love to see how they look with this setup if possible.
Mine was a 2020 Jeep gladiator sport. Dealer gave me 6k over what I paid for it, so I basically drove it for free for two years. I loved the gladiator and hated to get rid of it, but it was no fun on long road trips. :( I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I was in a spot to have to have...
That sucks, and a 93 tune is typically done to push max power and torque etc from the other trucks I have had tuned. That’s why I try to stick with 91 tunes; just some extra piece of mind vs a few more HP.
I am just curious why you didn’t try the revised tune? These aren’t necessarily one size...
I just did mine last week and it made a noticeable difference! I was a bit shorter on time than I had planned, so didn’t remove the back seat, just pushed it forward, pulled the seatbelt cover and plastic trim from the top, then pulled the back carpet down. It’s not perfect and wasn’t as easy it...
