Gonemoab looks like a hoot. I have all the same gear but no winch but with a group we should be ok without it. It's a desert anyway, there probably won't be much to winch to.
Ive done enough not to be fresh but not enough to be experienced. The most technical trail I've done was schnebly hill in sedona az. Made it out without a scratch. It should start to cool down late October, how many days do you think it'll take ?
I'm down, I've been thinking about doing this trail for a year now but I don't really wanna do it alone . Im even up for September (my birthday is on the 17th).
Im a local and I love that trail, it's just long enough to have some fun and escape back into the ac. If you were there just a few days ago it would have been 117. I did this trail in my stock FX4 2 days after I got it. Got a little skid plate rash but made it through no problem.
285/70/17 toyo at3 sl +25 offset rubs the last quarter turn of the wheel. Definitely gotta remove bars I just confused on where to start on the bumper loosening.
Found a used set on offerup. I know these run on the smaller side of 33's and they probably only got 40% of tread left but they fit with pleanty of room at full lock with Crash bars intact. I have a 25+ offset and a 3 eibach lift maybe that helped. No one tells you how loud these are...
