I am in Santa Barbara. I really want to order the King coil overs but am patiently waiting on some long travel options as well. Don’t want to buy coil overs twice lol.
I only run 91 octane also. I do have a tune on the truck. Does not seem to make any difference on my cold start issue. Stock tune or any other it still misfires on cold start. Maybe I will take it in for a reflash next week. Thanks.
You need a laptop and FORScan software. It can be a little overwhelming for some but watch a few videos and make backup files before changing anything. There is a calculator for the hex decimal code you will need to change for your specific tire size. My speedometer was 8mph off at 70mph. Use...
Yeah, sad to here the reflash doesn’t really fix the problem. Probably a hardware issue not a software problem. I’m betting it is a fuel injector issue but I haven’t thrown any codes yet so I will probably just leave it alone for the time being.
My truck has a small miss on cold start. Definitely noticeable if I put it into gear right away. Need to take it to the dealer for reflash just haven’t had the time. I just remote start it and let it drop off high idle for now lol.
Just running a ready lift 3” leveling kit for now. Want to order the Kings but may hold out for a long travel kit. Wheels are Method 305NV with BFGoodrich K02 285/75-16.
285/75/16 and I am running 32psi. They showed up at 80psi Lol! Was at 36psi for a while. Aired up to 32psi after the last dune trip. Haven’t really noticed a difference but I have not checked temps. I have the DT compound tires fwiw.
I am specifically looking for finned resi’s and compression adjusters. I don’t see the option in the drop down menu. Maybe I am missing something? Thanks.
Ready Lift 3” leveling kit. No wheel spacers, front and rear crash bars removed. Front air dam needs to be trimmed also. Either just the corners or like I did above.
Yes I removed it to do the cutting. I used a jig saw with a wood cutting blade. I did put tape on the bottom of the saw to prevent the air dam from getting scratched. The is an obvious step in the dam. I just free hand cut it about 3/8 of and inch below that step. I cleaned it up with an angle...
