That's another thing. I'm concerned Ford Credit might be mad at me. I turned my '17 Fusion Sport in early, and had 1k left to pay. I was a little slow in doing so because I had to pay the vet to murder my Rotty. When I got on the site to pay what I could, it showed a $0 balance. No idea what...
I had a chance to look at a used, dealer upgraded XLT with a leveling kit, bigger tires, katzkin leather, Raptor grill, and a few other goodies. I looked nice AF, but it was a regular 4x4 with no locker and no nav. The guy bought it with dealer upgrades, then decided he wanted a different one...
Most trucks have a system similar to this.
Here's an article that touches on it as well.

Good luck. I've been looking all over for confirmation from Ford on how their Terrain Management System actually works. I'm not sure Henry Ford himself would get an answer if he came back from the dead.
"With the EcoBoost engine we have both active noise cancellation and we also amplify the existing engine sound order," said Mustang chief engineer Dave Perciak.
However, he claims that instead of pushing completely fabricated sound through the stereo speakers, the car manufacturer simply...
Penzoil Ultra Platinum in anything Direct Injected, especially turbo'd. PUP has a low NOACK volatility which means less oil is evaporated, thus less oil vapor to coke the valves and less need for a catch can. For my cars that I don't need to worry about valve coking (port injection or a lease I...
I like TFL, but they are a loooooong way from being truck experts. They make such a big deal about the ZR2 and Gladiator front lockers, but fail to mention that the Ranger FX4 and Tacoma Off-Road/Pro do in fact have "brake lock differentials, auto-LSD, brake simulated lockers" or whatever you...
Glad to hear it worked out for you. Makes me wonder if I should have been a bit more patient in my search. I like the Taco, but good god does it feel gutless after getting accustomed to the power band of an Ecoboost. You really have to stick your foot in a Tacoma to get to the power. The Ranger...
Nice. I havent been able to log into the Sport forums for a while now. You'd think a super mod would be able to figure it out, but... Meh. Even though I'm getting rid of mine, I want to see your pipes when you get that done.
Sounds like you got a helluva lot better deal than anything I could get around here. The dealers here flat out told me that I don't want to lease the ranger right now.
I've been looking into this issue for the front wheels to see if the Ranger has what Toyota calls "auto LSD" which uses the brakes to make the wheels act like there is a limited slip. When one wheel loses traction, the brakes grab that wheel just tight enough so power is sent to the other wheel...
I mean they have the "money factor" jacked up so high that leasing is not an appealing option. When the first Ranger hit Omaha, I went in to check it out. Then, and last I checked about two weeks ago, the rates were terrible. If you don't mind my asking, what are your payments?
Hey all. I don't have a Ranger yet because Ford isn't ready to lease them, apparently. However, I hope to get one in 3 1/2 years when the lease on my Taco is up, and the Ranger redesign is out. I'll be watching this forum in the meantime.
