If you re-route the fuel that is getting into your oil to the glove box damper oil reservoir it will thin out the oil and should speed up the lowering of the glove box door. There's a thread about this mod around here somewhere.

$6 can of black plasti dip in a spray can, goes on just like paint from a spray can. This was my first time using plasti dip and it was just like using a spray can of paint. There are lots of plasti dip threads around here.
