No problem for the Ranger if in 4WD. Drove through a 29" berm and 22" driveway.

It's all about momentum. We are supposed to get about the same over the next coupe of days.

Might need to use 4L

Rumor has it we are going to get anywhere from 1 to 20 inches. Take your pick snow forecasting in the Puget sound area is a crap shoot.
Same thing along the Front Range of the Rockies in Northern Colorado...

If you know how to handle it, then you'll be fine. The truck is plenty capable.

This was last winter, around Thanksgiving we got 30" of snow over a few days. They didn't plow the roads until the end. One of the very few downsides of living on a less populated rural road. Plow bank ended up being about headlight/hood deep. Went though it in 4H without issue. Wife was watching to make sure no one was coming and said she should've taken a video.

I'm used to driving in snow and pushed my truck to its limits a few weeks ago. Tires are important... Running roughly 32" Yohokama Geolander ATs (not by choice - came on the truck). Not a fan. Got stuck with them at 30 psi. Aired down to 15 and they work just okay, was at least able to winch forward and then reverse out of the hole I dug. I think if i went a bit lower it would have helped more... im used to going to 2psi with beadlocks on my old jeep lol. I got hung up on my skid plate a lot which was inevitable. Planning on upgrading tires to a 33" max diameter and getting some more aggressive tread

I love my Geolandar A/Ts on my old Ranger. Hated them on my F-150. Decided to go with Wildpeaks on this ranger and they've been nothing but amazing. They just chew through anything, though I haven't been fortunate enough to do this kind of snow play yet, but the offroad stuff I've done has left me with confidence that they'd be amazing in "normal" snow conditions as well.

That's awesome to hear! I just bought a set of wildpeak at3w's. I heard they did well in the snow, and I was so inclined to upgrade after my geolandars let me down a this winter. Good to hear you're having a good experience
