I do have a nice shop vac and various brush/powered attachments. It still doesn't get all the fur out. The trick is a dishwashing glove; the longer forearm ones. Rubbing the carpet while holding the vacuum works wonders! It's the solution, but that is a a lot of work as often as we travel with...
So with the black interior (my first) of this truck, it shows EVERYTHING and seems to wear quickly. It could be our active lifestyle but my cloth front seats are looking faded and showing stains already in it's first year. I'm looking at covers and options but that's down the road.
With my dog...
I've had zero issues with my Hankooks and keeping them clean. Wesley's bleach white and poorboy's world bold & bright. Nice and clean, good black with satin shine. Below is after a week of driving in the sunny southern fall weather.
I've been looking into a valet style key as well. I'm just like you guys and Hunt/kayak/fish etc and dont' want to take the large, expensive OEM key with me. I have dry boxes and bags, but one flipped kayak that lost gear (the box with keys, phone, wallet included) that I had to hunt down over 5...
We absolutely do. But you have to navigate into the sync display menus to activate it. Other vehicles have a dedicated, single, physical dash button with one press, screen off.
Yep, they do dim down some at night still. This is a good thing so it doesn't kill your night vision. The max setting is pretty bright, however. You can turn off the Sync screen dimming in the settings menu. But I'm with quangdog and wish the Sync screen dimmed more. I was looking at Ram trucks...
From what I've found online and discussed with the techs at the dealer, the collision warning is based off the camera on the windshield alone. I have an 19 XLT 302a without the tech package, and the only radar functions on the front are my parking sensors. And thanks to Atlanta drivers I found...
This is my goal as well. I just want 1-1.25" of lift on the front to level out. The rake is crazy on the the newer trucks. I think I'm going the Eibach route, once I save up the extra cash. Just purchased a house and the garage is going to be box storage for a bit and I'm BROKE ?
Coming from...
I have this issue randomly as well. It's an odor of hot plastic when I use the heat. I have already had the TSB and my truck is not affected.
I did change my cabin filter to a charcoal one and it has helped somewhat.
Yeah, you're dragging you feet man! LOL
I went the clear route with paint protection film. Only used less than 1 roll and did all 4 door sills.

My cables are in the bed, in a crate, held to my wooden cross bar with a bungee. I'm actually looking at a power pack like others, but I'm still not on board with keeping it in the truck in the crazy hot southern summer sun...
The case also fit under my actual front seats, but I have power...
So no one touched it during inspection, shipment, dealer check in/prep, test drive, or delivery? Not a single person? You Lucky dawg...?
Maybe my family and circle of friends are just greasy peeps? ? Ever seen what skin oils do to a laptop keyboard? Or the edges of your cellphone case? Or you...
Normal. The oils in your hands will cause the wear; it's actually pretty crazy what skin oils do to materials. Same thing on my truck and wife's CR-V. A product like Blak or something ceramic coating can help slow this process. I apply twice a year.
I'm very particular about cleanliness but...
They may not have seated a bulb from the CHMSL properly and it could have popped out. It would give you a "glow" through the headliner when activated. check at night with brakes on and the cargo lights on to find your culprit.
Yep, same here. I close it just fine but every so often I slam it and cringe. My wife slams the doors EVERY TIME. she's not trying to at all. I went to the dealer for a recall and checked out the new '20s, and they do it too. Just how the door checks/weight/latch is set up I guess. I have a...
Coming from a Jeep TJ and XJ (several iterations of each) I am not afraid to take this truck where I want to go. There are some spots that a winch would be required or the trucks size is an issue but I already know those areas.
I've had this truck through the Gluches here in SC (nothing too...
I'm just shy of 9k miles on mine now, and i get the 50 miles warning light just under a 1/4, closer to 1/8 a tank now. I do not run it that low just out of habit though. On my '00 Expedition, we went 45 miles with it showing "0 miles til empty" when trying to drain the tank for engine work.
I have the exact same set up. Mine is only doubled up on the ends to save weight. I have loops screwed in so I can bungee things to it as eell. Keeps my tool box, grocery bags and anything else right at the back so I can get it.
