I've had my baby now since September and done quite a few mods so far - most recently, yesterday, got new 34 1/4" tires and a 2 1/2" level lift installed with a 2 1/2 spacer. Tires are Cooper Discoverer STT PRO 265/70/17 mud terrains. I couldn't be happier! Thanks to @ZeusOffRoad in Burnsville...
Indeed. Here in Minnesota it seems like the roads are paved with salt in the winter. I get a car wash subscription for a place near my home and wash it whenever the temps rise to 20 or warmer. So far so good and hoping to keep the rust at bay :-)
Update - so after two days of it consistently not working, it has worked every time since. Both at home and elsewhere, no issues. I dont know what could have been going on but whatever it was it seems to have passed on its own. As an app/computer programmer I don't like intermittent problems...
Interestingly it worked twice yesterday when away from the house. I’m gonna try it again at home later today and see what happens. So odd, it worked flawlessly every single day for the past 2-3 weeks without a single hiccup until this week. I’ll post my results later today.
I use the FordPass app to remote start my truck almost every day this time of year. Been working beautifully until yesterday.
Yesterday and today it failed to start - the start button on the app spins like usual for about 5 minutes then reports an error. I’ve restarted my phone just in case...
How difficult was it to get the cover off of the passenger-side of the dash? I'd love to remove mine to do some cosmetic work to the Ranger Logo that's on it.
I guess I’m glad the weather turned cold here in MN and I put off installing it till spring. Hopefully a solution to these issues will be found but until then I’m happy to let mine stay on the shelf for now as I use remote start almost 100% of the time when it’s cold out (so from now until April).
The tires did just fine but I stayed out of some of the trails where I thought I might have trouble. I'm planning to do a 2.5" level lift and Cooper Discoverer STT PRO 265/70/17 mud terrains next year hopefully.
I had them match the rears as closely as possible. I think we ended up with a 50% tint if I remember correctly.... the receipt paperwork doesn't indicate unfortunately.
Well yes in fact I do!! They say “BRUIZER”. The dealer messed up the plate transfer so at first I had regular plates until the paperwork was done.
Mine’s the one with the tire track graphics along the sides and hood stripes (both newer additions). Here’s a few pics! Surely both add at least...
How did you get those holes cleaned out of the bedliner material? I have the same situation and am picking up my bed extender today so hoping for some advice on getting those screw holes cleaned out enough so I'll be able to get it installed. Thanks!
We went to the Spider Lake ohv trails and park north of Brainerd. Ever been there before but now can’t wait to get back.
The rack is called a chase rack and it is the base on which my off-road led light bar is attached. I also loved how it looks so am glad to have it. My dealer had already...
Had a blast yesterday taking my Lariat out to the OHV Trails in northern Minnesota and got it nice and muddy for the first time. I am so loving this truck! Can’t wait to get the level lift and some good mud tires installed, but was still buckets of fun as it is!
