I really like the HAP40 sandwiches. It keeps a edge a very long tine but sharpens very readily since it’s carbon steel. I have a Hap40 Japanese petty knife for the kitchen and it is the most used knife in the house. Very nice patina on that blade I will post up soon.
It’s kinda weird there are...
Tow mode adds about 400 rpm and helps remove the lugging sluggish performance. Reduces the gear changing by staying in a gear longer. I find myself using it more often since trying it.
This is a spyderco delica4. They delica Has been made since 1990 (currently on generation 4) it is one of their main selling models. IMO it is a perfect edc, the 2.9” blade length makes it is legal in most all states to carry. The pocket clip is movable to all 4 positions to suit your carry...
I noticed as well. That thread was “Mega knife” and I saw the reply’s. Then the next day it was gone for some reason, the entire thread and reply’s. So then I made this one “Mega blade” and it’s working so far.
I have a special ring tone for when work calls me. When that goes off it’s a $1400 call for me to pull a 12 hr shift. I always give my wife $100 for any “call out” since it takes time away from us. Sometimes we have to cancel dinner plans, or plans to do something together. So I understand...
Threads like this are a good show and tell for others to get an idea of knives they might consider that may never have known about. Benchmade puts out some quality and the 940 is a workhorse.
I have mostly mass produced knives like Spyderco. But once in a while a custom finds it’s way to me.
This is a Kwaiken by Phillip Patton. The steel is AEB-L stainless, hollow grind for the blade, holographic green stingray skin wrapped with para cord that had the fibers removed for reduced...
Post up our knives here. Maybe talk about the steel, grind, sheath, use, history or the cost. If it’s sharp and pointy and used to cut, stab or protect you share them here.
Weird. The post is gone. RP even replied to it earlier so it was up. I dunno.
Will make a new one but use blade instead of knife in topic.
New blade linky
Hope things get better and ASAP. I was once told there are no motorcycles parked at the psychiatrist office because riding is it’s own therapy. If you can’t take care of yourself then taking care of other people and things is a bigger challenge. Obviously do not neglect the wife just to go...
I never use it. I always hit the “What’s new” tab on the top. If there is no new post from your last viewing of any thread it doesn’t become something you need scroll thru.
Blam. My Rubi order is in today. Should have VIN in just over a week. Dec 1 starts the 2022 wrangler builds.
