I've got an old brass steam whistle from the steel plant, used to signal start and quitting time, and lunch breaks. $$ And yeah, pickers got weird, although they've been in and near our area in PA a few times.
BTW, are you near Tell City, IN? Been there a few times to the Waupaca foundry...
I apologize for @subquark Kristina...the poster is derogatory, and no one needs to mansplain how to load a pickup truck to you!! Also noted the "manly" poster is from GM, apparently their owners need this reminder?
Nice work David! Last year, took the wife's brand new Escape to Florida, got a chip on the way on I95, behind a semi hauling I-beams?. Had Safe-lite in FL come to my sister's place there to do that. Lousy job, they're supposed to be the pro's...ticks me off every time I drive her car, I can't...

Love my '19 Ranger too Dave, but for trips my wife's '21 Escape gets better mpg...PA to Boston to see the grandkids, 32 mpg! Ranger averages 21, big difference...Escape is the 2.0 EcoBoost, great little engine? That's why the Maverick AWD is attractive to me, maybe down the road...
First what I did WITHOUT Pepper...I cheated...yes, I went on the 6g forum and snuck around! I was always planning to trade her after 4 years, and hit that at Christmas, but only 21k mi. I was not impressed with the re-design outside, but nothing a few mods wouldn't fix. Someone commented it...
Ditto Dave. Same Audew 2000, have it almost a year. Only used it to jump my daughter's JD garden tractor last summer...a bunch of times. Bought her a new battery, still needed to be jumped? It's at the repair shop now. And you're correct, the Audew is under the front seat, and holds at 100%...
