Are you doing leafs and shocks or just shocks? I didn't even jack my truck up for the rear shock install. I just unbolt and bolted in.
For the leafs I jacked my truck up by the diff, took both tires off, and lowered the truck onto jackstands (rear frame before axles). There are some youtube...
If you take most of the weight off the front with a car jack you can adjust the front. The rear you have to take apart to change the amount of leaf springs.
Added some more lift to the front of the truck. Also, got bored and took my bed rack off. Truck looks more beefy without it. Now to wash it and get an alignment.
Well rear is meant to be maxed with option 3. The front isn't maxed out yet (2.1in threads showing) (max is 2.25). As long as you have aftermarket UCA and a proper alignment it doesn't affect ride or drivability. It's a little stiff on the street but rides like butter offroad. Truck handles...
Ever since I went to 35s I took my fender flares off. Right now they don't rub but want to find a way to put them back on. He is some pics of clearance with 35s. The other picture is my truck with RTR Fender Flares on 33s.
