No, it is already in stock with a build date of 5/2019 so it is starting to get 'old' LOL.... The dealer with the magnetic trucks is known not to trade. The one with the black truck is in process of being bought by a holding company that has many dealers already so it is a legal hold...
I pondered the color choice for probably a week. It came down to Magnetic as my 1st choice, Black as 2nd, and Blue as third. We found 2 Magnetic at a dealer that would not trade. We then went to the black (found 1) and now that dealer has suddenly been sold and all stock is on hold! LOL...
As a side note, I actually took my 1999 F150 SuperCab down that same road over the weekend to see what I have been considering acceptable for 20 years and it too was harsh. I think that FX4 suspension is actually going to help out quite a bit!
The 2020 FX2 package with a locking rear axle...
Too many to respond to individually but the gist of the matter is heading down the same road...
It is an interesting observation that the FX4 certainly has features that are not used very often, but there are some that are used all the time.
The suspension is something that is used 100% of the...
Update: I drove two Ranger 4×4 XLT SuperCrew trucks back-to-back this afternoon over the same test route. I was able to use a particularly bumpy side street and a particularly long entry road to a marina full of potholes, ridges, and mismatched patches in the surface. I picked this path since it...
These are all good points. I also have noticed that the FX4 cluster also has a permanent tach. "Snow Mode" would also be beneficial for the street. As someone who holds onto their vehicles for a while (my F150 is now 20 years old) it may be a good idea to get the FX4.
I have reserved a test...
That is the plan, but not until next week at this point. Other's opinions will lead me to concentrate on specific items. I am not leaving this up to anyone else....
Narrowing down the packages with my dealer on available Rangers. He has located 3 in the surrounding area. They are all XLT 301A, trailer tow, and remote start (my requirements min) but other varying stuff like Adaptive Cruise and type of floor mats. The 3 units in play...Magnetic with FX4...
LOL...
He may be used to folding the rear seat down in the F150 to make a flat load floor. With the rear part 'up' can the bottom cushions be folded to make a load floor or would he need to just toss a blanket on the seat?
LOL...I am spoiled by the adaptive cruise in my Fusion. In rush hour stop and go it will follow whatever the car in front of you does. It stops with the traffic and then follows it along when it gets going again. If the stop is more than 15 seconds (I think) a push on resume gets the car rolling...
Thanks Rob. I see that the forward sensors are moved to the Tech Package now for XLT for 2020. I was not going to go after NAV or Adaptive Cruise since this one is not Stop and Go capable (at least it is not listed as such) and Waze connects up nicely with AndroidAuto. I do like the Race Red...
Hello everyone in Ranger5G land. My name is Dan and I am pondering picking up a 2019 or 2020 Ranger Supercrew this Fall to replace an aging 1999 F150 SuperCab I bought new a long time ago! I will be looking to get the 4x4 so I can flat tow it behind my motorhome for distant adventures. I will...
