For my ARB bumper, I bought these Paranoid Fab brackets but I have never been impressed with the fit of the Diode SS2 lights.
Decided to take matters into my old hands. Took a few revisions but this fits the lights much better. Tomorrow will probably be test fit on the truck but its looking...

First picture is the chassis and the second pic is where the head used to be. I am pretty sure I am going to move it back there but I have to take the passenger's seat out again, remove a ton of trim and run the wire back up to the roof.
alright - here it is. I have my ham ticket and a GMRS license. The rules are very clear that an amateur radio is not allowed to operate on GMRS channels.
Now that that is out of the way, I have the Icom 2730a that has been MARS modded. Basically, it opens the ham radio to more frequencies...
You can fit 285/70r17 without the 3.5" kit from BDS.
When I was a lot more stock than I am now, I ran the Eibach Pro 2.0. It is an excellent kit and rides fantastic. It handles the weight of a stock truck really, really well. Some weight is okay, but if you go nuts on your build, they will...
I bled my brakes on several occasions, did the Forscan process, installed R1 Concepts pads and rotors and the thing that solved my soft pedal was the Wilwood big brake kit. My pedal is firm and consistent now. I believe the master cylinder is oversized for our trucks and the 6 piston caliper...
Your first reply after the initial posting.
Quoted above, no explanation needed. Not every man who talks to you is mansplaining. Thats another method you’re using to be mad. Congratulations, you’re mad on the internet.
You’ve had an aggressive attitude since you started here. You have to take everything with a grain of salt because it’s the internet. I don’t think anyone “mansplained” anything but tried to help and you’ve been combative with each attempt. Maybe your “20 years in the military” baggage is...
Over the last week I completely rewired my aux electrical. I had a weird failure in my ham radio. At first, it would cut off when I tried to transmit and the temperature was high, then it wouldn't turn on at all. My last wiring iteration was to make a factory looking wiring loom where...
Springs will work without anything else. You may run in to issues with the length of the shock, but you don't have to have the BP-51s. (They're called BP-51s, the 5160 are Bilstein).
ARB USA would be a good place, I agree. Their customer service is friendly and knowledgable.
you are going to have a hard time finding a +25. Our trucks use a weird offset stock (although the new Tacoma is using +55 now too). The old Toyotas use 0 offset quite a bit. You can do OE offset with 1" spacers or 0 offset.
I've only ever found +25 as Ford wheels. There are a ton of cool 0...
Finally took the time to drop the headliner and sound deaden the roof. It made a world of difference. About 10 dB drop in noise (its hard to tell a hard number because my kid kept screaming messing up my numbers). I did the test on the same stretch of highway at 70 mph though, and I can tell a...
