my wife noticed she gets incorrect readings (including vehicle locations, my Ranger showing as parked even though I'm driving it, showing as running while parked, etc) on her iPhone, but my android is usually correct (general location, enging status, etc).
keep in mind, the brighter the bulb, the hotter they burn, and the hotter they burn, the shorter they last.
and, of course, never touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers. the oils in your skin create hot spots, which cause the bulb to burn out faster.
go to your favorite auto parts store and see if they have anything which may suit your taste.
Hint: I work at an Advance Auto Parts, and we just put a bunch of tips on clearance and took them off the regular shelf and moved them to our clearance section, they were about 2 bucks a piece. I...
FWIW, a guy I work with was told not to use Mobil 1 with any kind of Turbo because the oil breaks down quicker (he was told this by the service writer at Subaru where he bought his car, after asking why the oil in his engine was so dark in a relatively short time period after an oil change).
any chance the OBD port isn't getting power with the engine off unless a door is open? I'm not an engineer and am really taking a wild shot in the dark, but... it would seem to make sense that, with the port not getting power, your plug-in module isn't working.
Good Luck!
the Nav update is a one-time deal from Ford, and is different from updating Sync (they want to sell you more often updates in the long run, I'll bet). I'm holding out a year or two before I update the nav in my '23 (and use Waze/Android Auto anyway)
you just popped a great big bubble over my head, thanks. I'm on a road trip, by the time I reached my destination for the day, I was down to 7 miles to "E", but when I filled the tank, it was 18.264 gallons, which blew my mind because I thought it was only 18 gallons even. ah well... ;-)
if you're paying for it, you can have anyone do the job. If you want the dealer to cover it (warranty, TSB, etc), then you're going to have to convince him it's a job which should be covered, which is the hard part in most of these cases
Pinstripes can be tasteful, if applied correctly. I used to work with a guy who had someone come out and paint the stripes on the side of his car, and they looked great. Couple years later, I was looking at a new car, which had pinstripes on it. Salesman claimed they were painted on, but...
I bought my Ranger shortly after cancer surgery last year, and couldn't do heavy lifting for 2 months, so I picked up this ramp for my 14 year old redneck Welsh Terrier (he's a double-wide). He wouldn't use the ramp until I attached a lighter covered carpet (no slip, indoor-outdoor type...
Ford left the leads to the "upfitter switches" in the engine compartment, on the right, near the relay box, 6 leads, 1 per switch (all this is in the owners manual, pages 409-413 btw). Connect the 'hot' wire to the appropriate lead at the fuse block under the hood, connect the ground to the...
10 ounces on one spot tells me your rim/tire combo is seriously out of round (bent rim? maybe).
4 ounces in another spot tells me they missed the placing of the 10 ounces the first time (former tire tech, been there, done that)
