Thanks. My dealer plate frame was definitely touching the tailgate so I removed it. I don’t think I’ll put a cover on the back, just the front one that looks out of place to try to cover it up.

100% agree. If no one gives them credit for doing something right, why would they bother wasting their time to do it again when they easily could have cut corners.

That’s disappointing, I hope they get you fixed up right away. They are great flaps, mine seem to be holding up great. Sort of related but were they “Smarties” that came with your flaps? They are called Rockets here, Smarties are coloured candy filled with chocolate!

You’re likely right, but even if it’s recessed most of the removal tools will still grab it and easily remove it as long as there is at least a little room between the lock and the wheel.
