The running board lights I bought came with schematic from Ford to wire it into the interior light wire. It only comes on when you hit the fob or open the door. That wire is also in the left rear door sill. Just an FYI.

I have been trying to remedy the same situation. Hope someone comes up with a solution also.

I have a 2020 xlt. Bought it in 2023. Had 29000 miles. Has 48000 now. And so far no issues. Knock on wood. I have put all kinds of doo dad's on her, from fro r big bumper and 13000 lb wench. I like it except tje seats dont seem to fir the damn thing. Lol

I would venture to say, most parts are produced in other countries. Therefore the tariffs that have been enacted by the current administration, take over. So the cost of the tariffs are passed down to the consumer. Which is how tariffs work.

Cool. I did the main air intake yesterday. I see you went into the inside air ducts from the outside. Most all others take the entire dash out to get there. Seems like your idea of going through the outside cowl area sure seems easier. Going yo try that today. Thnx.✌️
