Hi All,
Bought a Tremor grille and did the chrome swap so what I have for sale is the assembled grille with a Lariat base shell (used) with magnetic grey outer surround (brand new) and gloss black center bars (brand new)
No broken tabs!
Edit: the center bars look chrome in my pic but they are...
Unfortunately, I have not. I grabbed the sensor and it's pigtail on Tuesday off an annihilated Ranger at the recycling yard. The truck was too far destroyed to look at that connector.
I jumped under mine and the connector/harness disappear under the LH headlight and cannot be seen without...
What year is your Ranger? If you're comfortable with sending me the VIN, I can look the diagram up.
I only find Thailand and South African Ranger Raptors in the service documents.
Edit, I'm not allowed access to other country's wiring diagrams - weird.
I have posted 2020 US Ranger here:
I want to swap some parts out of my Lariat grille and have the chrome and red accents in my grille.
Does anyone have a Tremor grille for sale?
Thanks for looking
PM me if you want.
I did the swap and was holding on to the old one to potentially swap back to stock if I ever traded it in. I have the Lariat steering wheel buttons too.
What's your budget?
Did some digging on Ford PTS:
"The scan tool calibrates the CCM through the CCM procedure in programmable parameters"
So it appears that there is a need for an OEM level scan tool.
Part numbers for CCM service connector pigtail (to make your own harness)
WPT-1198 or 4U2Z-14S411-LC
I'm...
I wonder since your truck never had ACC that it has no calibration to 'look back to' as compared to someone that installed a new bumper and relocated the sensor.
I called in a favor from a friend at a local auto recycler - should have my sensor and OEM bracket this week. He's grabbing some of...
@CHrisin have you taken your truck for a test drive yet?
I have read in a few spots where people used the upper grill bracket and the message went away after a drive.
So that sounds like an situation where a OEM scan tool would come into play? If I have time next week (and I remember) I will connect the IDS and see if I can find a user parameter in the PCM that can be set to show ACC.
As far as I know we can't access the PCM with the FORScan
@CHrisin Thank you for the link to the connector.
I've been readily following this thread right along.
I miss having ACC like I used to have in the vehicle we traded in.
