  1. What's the upgrade path?

This is the one most of us run. Cheap investment for protection! Takes 3 minutes to install too! We share the M220 rear diff with some Jeeps and the Bronco, so that's why that says for Jeep.
  2. What's the upgrade path?

Sounds like you need skid plates and sliders. Expensive but absolutely necessary if you are bashing rocks. Our trans pan is plastic, it's not hard to crack it or put a hole in it. Also if you damage the door sills it's way more expensive to repair than the $1000 you'll pay for real rock sliders...
  3. Chris' 2021 Cactus Grey XLT 4x4 "Overland" build

Ditched the Dometic water faucet all together. Just wasn’t that great. Got the water pump all I stalled and all the plumbing finished today. It rules! 40 psi and 10gal of fresh water! Now we’re ready for some big trips over the next month!
  4. A Suspension Facelift

The Eibachs are pretty great, I believe @Colo_Ranger has some for sale for a great deal. The leaf springs IMO will make the biggest difference in the ride, especially while towing. Deaver is a great brand. I run the Old Man Emu leafs and love them. You’ll enjoy the new suspension a lot!
  5. Chris' 2021 Cactus Grey XLT 4x4 "Overland" build

Forgot to post pics of the bed setup. I have a 10 gallon water tank in the front connected to a Dometic faucet which is great for filling water bottles. I have a 12v water pump coming this week and I will hook up a spray nozzle to a hose (in addition to the faucet) for more water pressure for...
  6. Chris' 2021 Cactus Grey XLT 4x4 "Overland" build

It’s attached to the seat bracket
  7. Chris' 2021 Cactus Grey XLT 4x4 "Overland" build

Tested out the setup weekn RMNP, loving it! Still a lot of organization to figure out though. Made some crossbars from some 15 series extrusion from TNutz and got the MaxTrax and OVS awning installed today.
  8. Chris' 2021 Cactus Grey XLT 4x4 "Overland" build

Got tired of waiting on the Lone Peak, ordered an RSI Smartcap and it only took 3 days to come in! Loving this setup so far! Got it with one full-side bin and one-half bin. Installed my 10-gallon water tank in the rear too. I'll post up some more pics after we got back from the long weekend...
  9. Getting FPT later this week

I gained 2 mpg on average with the tune. Although the gain is negated at the pup since you have to run premium.
  10. Auxbeam switch question

#2 with a dab of sealant. How most people do it. It’s perfectly dry in there, go for it!
  11. Best 20 minute upgrade? Sumo Springs

I am completely level with a WDH. I have a full OME suspension including the HD leaf pack. I would absolutely look into upgrading the leaf pack if you tow a lot. It's been the single best suspension mod I have done between the few suspension setups I've had.
  12. Bed Liner In a Can Advice Please!

I did not use their adhesion promoter, but I used a primer. Basically the same thing. Absolutely get 2k. It’s a more durable material and fender flares are going to see a good bit of rocks and small road debris.
  13. Best 20 minute upgrade? Sumo Springs

I have the blues (6000lb unloaded, 570 tongue weight) and they are perfect.
  14. Not another frigin' leveling kit thread!

If you are just doing leveling blocks, they are all pretty much the same design, go with whatever is cheapest. Almost everyone goes for a 2 inch. If you are looking to do a suspension level, phew that's a whole 'nother can of worms.
  15. Bed Liner In a Can Advice Please!

I have used spray can Raptor liner for my sliders and my rear seat delete, while expensive, it's the absolute best. 2 cans will be good, I would not try with only 1.
  16. Competition Leaked: 2024 Tacoma First Look Official Image

That is most likely a TRD Pro, I wonder if the base models will look the same? The base-level next-gen Ranger is effing horrible, only the Raptor looks good. Hopefully, Toyota won't make the same mistake with their base-level models.
  17. Does the stock spare tire location work for off-road?

Our group has taken our Ranger all over the best tracks in CO and UT and I think every single one of us has a full size spare in the stock location and it’s never been an issue, you’ll be good to go unless you make the truck a dedicated rock crawler and need every inch of clearance you can get.
  18. Does the stock spare tire location work for off-road?

The only time it would pose an issue is if you needed to change the tire in a river or a mud hole, then it would suck. Other than that the location is perfectly fine.
  19. Recovery Boards

You get what you pay for. I've had 2 sets of X-bulls and they both have melted nubs after about 3 uses, one cracked in half last time we used it in the snow. MaxxTraxx are the only way to go IMO. Unless its something you use once a year or only have for emergencies, pay the extra $ up front and...
  20. Rocky Road Outfitters-Rock Rails

Drilling into the frame is fine, if you look at it, it's full of holes everywhere. People have been drilling into the frames for slider installation for decades. I will say that I had to drill 1 hole for my HMF sliders and it was a pain, the frame is hardened so it take a while, 12 holes will...
