  1. Eibach install

Well guys, I spent another day tearing her apart and I put the jounce bumpers with the upper white spacer and black boot on. The instructions state to reuse factory spring perches, isolators, tubes, and dampers. Their words, not mine. Very vague. So there's still a lot left up to...
  2. What Is the Name/Nickname of Your Ranger?

She is Dana. After the axles
  3. Eibach install

Guess I'll be tearing it apart again!! Appreciate your response!
  4. Eibach install

I got it all installed, but question: are you supposed to put on the original yellow bump stop with its white spacer? How about the black dust boot? The Eibach instructions are really unclear. As of now, I just have the spring perch, lower black plastic isolator, top hat, and black rubber...
  5. Eibach install

OK, so I've gotten my passenger side apart without breaking any bones. But I'm running into some trouble! How do I get the bottom spring perch off? Edit: Nvm! Just pull it over the riveted fastener on top.
  6. Eibach install

Yes! As soon as the tools get here, I'll be knocking out my fronts. Will remove the axle shafts from the hubs before I undo anything else!
  7. Air Dam Delete? Mod your old air dam to fill the gap

Definitely going to do this when I get the chance
  8. Dashboard Layouts

I have an XL, but with my STX, I get the XLT gauges, which I prefer to the lariat gauge. The analog tach is important to me!
  9. How long for the Ranger smile to fade?

178 days, 10890mi. Still smiling! I am literally driving my dream truck and I don't care that it's an XL.
  10. 2-Seater Ranger Raptor in the Netherlands to avoid +100.000EUR(!) price tag.

That's.. Interesting!! Partitioning the cab kind of makes for a cool storage area, but wouldn't it have been easier to offer seat deleted supercab? Or just a seat delete for the supercrew? I'm assuming the cab partition is nessesary to conform with regulations? Still, it's cool to look at...
  11. Linex Bedliner.... NEVER again.

Fwiw, 303 aerospace protectant will bring back that sheen and protect it against further uv damage. Me, I didn't get premium, but I have a soft top. I apply ceramic spray on the linex on the tailgate for uv protection. Your post does make me regret not shelling out the extra at the time of...
  12. Eibach install

Got my rear installed! Pretty straight forward, tho a long reach jack would have been very helpful. The Eibach shocks are MUCH stiffer than stock. Compressing them by hand is a no go. I used a ratchet strap to good effect. There's no need to force the shackle bolts into place, just use your...
  13. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed my unleveling kit! +1" rear
  14. Eibach install

For people installing in the future: The rear shocks are removed with a 15mm socket. Using an impact gun makes quick work of it. The passenger side upper nut is in a channel that makes it hard to put back in. Try to leave it in that channel! The shocks won't fall out on their own when the...
  15. Sway bar delete?

I have no experience on an ifs vehicle, but when I disconnected my front and rear sways on my XJ, it was pure sketch. I added a front quick disconnect and left the rear sway off and it was fine. The leaf spring rear was plenty stable on road for that vehicle, but the coil spring front needed the...
  16. Eibach install

Y Yepppp, 2 sets of spring compressors it is!
  17. Eibach install

I think I'll give it a go! At least I know I'll be careful with my truck. Will post updates for future reference as I go. I've got a nice 1/2" 350ft/lb 20v impact gun and a cheap 1/2" air impact gun. I think if I double up on the compressors (4 instead of 2), if one breaks I'll be still be...
  18. Eibach install

Hi everyone, I've done tons of reading on the subject but am still a little unsure of how to go about installing my eibach level kit and BDS shackles. Right now, I'm considering installing it myself, minus the spring compressor death missile part (I'd find a shop to assemble the strut for me)...
  19. Rough country or Eibach lift kit?

I have an Eibach kit and BDS rear shackles sitting in the back of my truck right now.. Figuring out who's gonna do the install. Shackles are another option! No axle wrap!
  20. USB Type-C

As far as I'm concerned, USB-A is already dead and USB-C is superior in every way. USB-C PD charging can deliver 100w output in some applications whereas USB-A to USB-C QC3.0 tops out at 36w. Geek talk aside, I did cut off my left 12v outlet and hardwired a usb-a qc3.0, usb-c pd 18w, with a...
