  1. Well I'm stumped (electrical).

I know it worked fine for a while but whenever I hear "hyperflash" and "LED" I'm thinking "load resistor"..... It' worth a try........
  2. Issues with DRL

Have you been using Forscan by chance?
  3. Post your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

  4. Trouble starting the Ranger today

I was thinking battery as soon as you described the issue...... Especially with the cold weather..... I have a 2019 Lariat and expect to need a new battery within the next year for sure....we'll see.....
  5. Let's see those hood protectors & bug deflectors on your Ranger!

Hood Protection? Just WRAP it.....
  6. Trans Temps...

Ah.....but can you get oil pressure with that fancy setup grasshopper? I know you can't pull an oil temp....we don't have a sensor. I use a wireless OBDII reader and OBD Fusion with a 7" Fire HD tablet. $24.95 for the refurbished tablet, $4.99 for OBD Fusion + $14.99 for the 315 sensor PID files...
  7. Shelby Ranger

Brother....if there was a 750hp Ranger out there it would get WAY out from underneath a whole bunch of folks on this site...... MAJOR suspension work needed on the Ranger to put 750hp under the hood.....lol.
  8. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

I haven't read through this whole thread so I may be late to the party but I'm thinking having my ECU tuned, which includes tuning for the 10R80, keeps me from having a bigger issue with this bucking. I occasionally get a pretty good bump in 4th-5th just coasting down the road....very occasional.
  9. Livernois - Initial / Long Term Review

I've had my Livernois 91-93 hard shift tune installed for over 58K now......still runs perfect! Note for flashing.....I've flashed back and forth from performance to stock when going to the dealer or whatever many times. I have had issues with accidentally leaving a usb charge cable connected...
  10. Lariat - Factory LED Headlights - Reliability

88K+ on my factory LED headlights and DRL's.....absolutely no issues.
  11. Spark Plug Change

I think I changed mine at about 30K....I'll have to go back in here and see. I went with a NGK Ruthenium plug that was 1 step colder than our factory plugs. I run a tune in mine as a daily driver for the Mrs and I wanted to maximize performance. I'm at just over 88K so I'll probably change mine...
  12. New Ranger, Poor Mileage so far...

Chris.....with those numbers I can tell you are having ZERO fun with your Ranger..... BTW.....put a tune in that truck and you'll find out that 10R80 tranny is a beast and you'll get better gas mileage too.....
  13. VW

Except for the Ford Ranger....That VW Ranger looks better than any other mid-size truck out there...
  14. Turbo Replacement

Right up front.....you are a brave man and no disrespect intended but.....If you are just a weekend mechanic you are into some higher level installations then you might want to be without some kind of guidance. I'm a former USAF aircraft mechanic and pretty good with a wrench but I would never...
  15. My 2019 ranger jerks when putting into drive

Hey Sid.....so when I get this bump, maybe in 4th or 5th, sometimes it feels like someone came up and rear ended me.....very pronounced. Now it does not happen very often but when it does it is not nice. Since it happens so infrequently and I have the tune installed, I figured it was just a burp...
  16. My 2019 ranger jerks when putting into drive

Erratic Shift Complaints, Valve Body Replacement Complaints of erratic shifting, poor shift quality, missed shifts, and other shifting and TCC control complaints are becoming more common with these units. As these units accumulate more mileage, these concerns may become more frequent. There may...
  17. My 2019 ranger jerks when putting into drive

Sid. I've got somewhere around 87K on mine and I get a hard shift kick rolling down the freeway every now and then. Not sure what gear it happens in but it's been going on since 35K or so. I did the tranny fluid and filter change at about 55K and that made no difference. So the bottom line is...
  18. Colorado Bison

$52K for that GM product is NO BUENO. Terrible power and quality of build!! You can run a ring around that thing in your Ranger..... I wouldn't give more than $35K for it......IMO as always I owned a '01 4x4 Blazer. It had a tremendous 4x4 system! Other than that it was the typical GM cheap...
  19. Software update speed limiter

I'm a habitual speeder and my guns have nothing to do with it.....
  20. How does Ranger ride with K02's?

Hey Greg, I really appreciate your input. I was a little worried about putting the "E" rated K02's on after I read that post. I guess it's the rear Eibach upgrade but I'm a bit surprised the front setup feels as good as it does. I've got the Eibach front adjustable shocks, the spring set and the...
