I found a PID for it.....I bet you would like the equation for that Sid, aren't you running Torque Pro?
PID:
221e1c
Min Value:
-40.0
Max Value:
300.0
Scale Factor:
1x
Unit type:
*F
Equation:
(((signed(A)*256)+B)*(9/8)+320)/10
BTW...the unit type is degree symbol F. I couldn't find that...
I just talked to my dealer Sid and it's the best $210 I'll probably ever spend ;)
I'm just shy of 41K now and a little concerned about the trans temps I'm seeing. I was staying right around 199-200F all the time once warmed up....now I'm seeing 210F when I push it. Not that it's out of range...
Not standard in the Lariat
I opted out due to the nature of "aftermarket" names on OE systems.....have had bad experiences with that. I've had my 2019 Ranger for right at 1 year and I am planning my aftermarket system right now.....time to upgrade for sure!
I could have sworn that app has told me it can't start because the doors aren't locked? I'll have to test that out and see if mine does that....would love it. Dave, I may be mixed up with my Hyundai Kona on this with the door locks and the remote start through the app. I know for sure it will...
Well I guess I better start installing some more stuff to keep up with you Racket.....you might be able to out run me....lol. You don't have big tires on that thing do ya? ;)
BTW...do you like to hissss at other vehicles with your dv like I do? I LOVE to see the look on people's face as I drive...
I agree with the warmer weather....other than that I'm always good to go with a meet up...
I live in Windsor, I work in Arvada....the wife works in Boulder.
I was trying to get a big meet up together for the summer with people from out of state too but it's hard to get folks to get up here. I...
Totally understand! Just know that catching the fuel/oil vapor from going back into your motor will not void any warranty. I catch at least .5 to 2 oz per fill up...at least! Much more when it’s cold. If I would have seen the pictures posted of catch can contents earlier, I would have put one on...
I’m really glad to hear that WIX makes MC filters! I only use a WIX on my other vehicle. Interestingly, with the factory air filter, I could only find it at the dealer who wants a fortune! Can’t buy ANY aftermarket yet locally. I’m into a K&N drop-in now with the aFe power scoop attached to the...
Man I completely understand what you are saying. I feel very blessed not to have this issue! Just so you understand where I’m at on this...I’ll be honest, I had no idea these 2.3 L motors were the high performance machines that they really are until I bought the darn thing. Now I’m at that age...
I don't know why you would ever use anything other than a Motorcraft 910S filter for your Ranger? Pretty sure Ford has the filter thing figured out ;)
I would not use ANY aftermarket filter for oil if you own a Ford. I plan on getting a Mishimoto magnetic drain plug but that just helps the...
I'm curious, since Ford obviously has not acknowledged this issue, has anyone with "fuel in the oil" or "an increase in oil volume between oil changes" actually had a problem that needed to be repaired or diagnosed? Has anyone had a noticeable decrease in power or some kind of sign the engine is...
Hmmm....if your having this problem, why not try installing a catch can and see if that fixes the issue? Mind as well, right? I've had mine on for about 20K now and absolutely no fuel issues in the oil....<0.5% last Blackstone. (In all fairness, never had the problem)
Engine Build Date...
I couldn't tell you from any experience I have. Besides my 6.7 SuperDuty I've never had a turbo to watch the boost measurements on. I will tell you I'm right at 5,280 in elevation and I've got just a smidge under 40K on my truck. She is obviously tuned from my post and I tend to run her pretty...
This is a quick picture of my setup. I installed the tablet with a very strong, adjustable magnetic mount in the dash tray. I have yet to drill a hole and run the power behind the dash. I'm just using one of the 12v outlets w/usb. So this picture is obviously at idle. Notice the max boost red...
I'm definitely looking for the complete magnetic wheel, face and pockets or it's not worth messing with. Heck, I've spent A LOT of dinero on the Ranger and I'm about done...
But if I could find someone willing to make a deal on the factory complete magnetic wheel I would jump on it. Thank you...
I'm in Colorado also....I wish you folks wanting to part with your Magnetic wheels were close enough to drive too. I would love to put those on my Ranger....Kinda working on getting her blacked out ;)Shipping would be astronomical on wheels I'm sure....
I run an electronic boost gauge in Torque Pro. I run the Livernois high performance, hard shift tune as my daily driver(hottest tune for regular fuel). If I'm not mistaken, I have pulled pretty close to 24 psi if not a tiny bit more. I will make a point to drop a rock and see what max boost...
