I traded my 2011, 6.7L Scorpion motor, F250 for my Ranger. I ran full synthetic like I do in all my vehicles and that was a $150 oil change every time. Between that and the ridiculousness of diesel emission systems/def and the plethora of sensors that go along with it….bottom line…maintenance...
I have a 2019 Lariat FX4 with 50K on her. I would definitely buy again....and will with the next major upgrade in 2023. The only thing I've been really disappointed in was having to have the climate control module changed out because of mechanical issues....this was a service bulletin. They have...
I saw one yesterday in the bright sun of midday and it definitely looked like a weird shade of green. I'm hoping they will come out with one of the nice looking light flat grays you see out their for the 2023 release. I really like the color of the Kia Telluride in that flat gray with the black...
Contact your county tax assessor. That is who would be the ultimate authority, at least in Texas where I am from and here in Colorado where I live now. We were on a backlog to get tags here last year when I bought my Ranger. I bought it 2/20/2020 and got my tags in May.....
I don't tow anything and still see Trans Temps up to 212 depending on my foot, ambient air temp and driving conditions. Sounds to me like it doesn't matter if your towing or not, same operating temperatures.
I don't get on I-25 till about 6am each day.....You can't miss my truck, it's chili pepper red with a crazy looking black and gray holographic vinyl wrap on the hood, door handles, fuel door and tailgate handle.
You won't damage it if you just take it easy. Lots of forest service roads to run around on that you can handle for sure. Wait till you play with that Trail Control....it's a hoot ;)
Some of you folks are apparently conspiracy theorists.....
Just kidding...don't cancel me. ;)
Look, I would fight to the death to keep cash alive in our society. So when they go down that path, if I'm still around, it will be on for me. For now, most of us use debit/credit cards. The biometric...
Digital theft of all kinds is a huge problem for all of us and it's only going to get worse! Why can't we do iris scans for monetary transactions in 2021? We need some sort of biometric method to create a private, digital security shield that is unbreakable.
I have had several digital security...
I've got almost 48K on my Ranger. Installed a Turbosmart BOV at approximately 20K. My engine runs GREAT to this day! I don't believe it gives you any advantage on power per se....but I do love to hissssssssss at folks as I drive by them.....lol ;)
I believe Mrs. Quail Guy enjoys hisssssssing a...
I use torque pro ($4.95) and a wireless obd2 adapter ($20 on Amazon). I posted the PID for trans temp using that setup. Do a search and you should find it.
I’m still waiting/hoping for an answer.
Not sure we have any other meaningful sensor data we can access anyway. No oil temp or oil pressure…that’s what I would really want.
I never made it to the dyno run I had planned. Had to deal with that stupid climate control module change and didn't reschedule. I do want to see what she'll do at the track. I'm hoping to make a run at Bandimere Speedway here in Denver next week. ;)...
According to the Ford Warranty guide....I guess I've been tampering....
Well since the judge told papaw to bring a toothbrush if she see's me again my foot has been fully reconditioned for less throttle in my Ranger.....;)
No worries....I still get on her every here and there, just...
