That's how my wife got our "good china" before we got married. You'd get a place setting (plate, cup and saucer) for buying so much and You'd clip the weekly coupon for the serving piece. I think that's where our silverware came from too.
I also remember my folks going to the filling (gas)...
As has been said there is no factory "filler piece". My tonneau cover came with a filler piece that screwed to the bulkhead and sealed to the cover with a foam strip.
With the way peoplr drive fast in parking lots. I think it is more about visibility when leaving. You can see cross traffic better when going forward than backing out. Especially when parked next to some monster Suberban. I personally look for "drive through" spots in parking lots when I can...
Welcome, nice truck. Looks very similar to mine, FX4 with Sport Appearance page. Except mine is Lighting Blue, the best Ranger color.
+1 on the Bilstein rear shocks. It will tow your 4K+ camper no problem, so yes get the brake controller while you can still find it. Ford in its infinite wisdom...
A couple of things going on here. The Ranger is known for having "mushy" brakes. Seems to be many cases of air in the lines. So, have your brakes bled. If you haven't had it done yet, you are probably due to have your fluid replaced anyway. This is recommended to be done every 3-4 years...
Unfortunately it appears that as of 12/18/24, we are no longer able to buy extended licenses for Forscan. You can still get the Free 2 month license. The lifetime license has not been available for some time.
Appears the current deepening of sanctions against Russia have prevented their...
OK, turn down the heat. It's just when you make a post talking about a 35% increase in mileage. That's a huge increase. Especially from mods that many others have done with minimal if any increase.
Just want to get the details right. No rocks being thrown. By the way I am a boomer, no pretty...
Since you seem to be a little testy about this. Your original post sure seems like you are assuming a +6 mpg gain. The very first line in it says so. The rest only explains hope some of your mods reduced your mileage.
Come back in another 800 to 1000 miles and see if has stayed that high.
Forget putting LEDs in halogen housings! If you lower them enough not to not get flashed they are of no benefit. And the cutoff is ?. Right now from Underland offroad you can still get the OLM headlights for $850 plus shipping. They are the same as the Morimotos only less costly. Put them on...
OK. Now this is beginning to be more believable. +2 is a long way from the +6 you first showed us. I still stand by my statement that the 400 mile number is a snapshot and could be high. 800 to 1000 miles with multiple fill ups will give a better picture. And, towing will really kill your long...
Just saying, a 35% increase in gas mileage is HUGE! Especially for a couple of mods considered performance mods.
The 8K+ mile average is a valid average number. That 400 mileage number is a snapshot number. There is so much that goes into what fuel mileage you get that snapshots will very all...
What you also don't know is will the rear shocks that you just spent time changing out, fit on your new truck. They made some pretty significant changes to the 6G rear suspension. Specially the shock placement.
