As has been said there is no factory "filler piece". My tonneau cover came with a filler piece that screwed to the bulkhead and sealed to the cover with a foam strip.

What you also don't know is will the rear shocks that you just spent time changing out, fit on your new truck. They made some pretty significant changes to the 6G rear suspension. Specially the shock placement.

I'll beleive those numbers when you put another 8500 miles on TRIP 1 and are still getting those kind of numbers. One tank full is not an average.
