Good write up. Is annoying when a dealer will modify an ordered vehicle without permission and then want to charge you for it. I'm talking about the so called paint protection and laser etching.

Maybe as some say it is just Ford being cautious in printing that. I'm no expert on campers so don't see why the truck would care what it hauls. A load is a load, correct? As long as the camper is not top heavy or cause a lot of wind resistance. The truck should not mind if it is bricks...

Well, unfortunately I did not get any numbers on my Mega Millions ticket. On the plus side I did get moved from Processing to In Production and my window sticker today. Looks like the Blend date is June 5th. I'm happy. :clap:

Haha, I was thinking of doing the opposite. Put an air dam on the FX4 for street use increased mpg. Then taking it off if I wanted to do any off roading fun. Decided against it eventually. Thought why abuse a nice new truck off road when I can do that with an old Land Rover Series...

@Richard Conley You ordered yours the same day I did and I got a VIN about two weeks later. Get in touch with your sales person. Mine should be built this week or next (website not updated that yet). I have a dealer ETA of June 23. I would think yours would be built around the same time as mine.

That is good to know @RedlandRanger . I have not had to wait near as long as some on this site have. So no real complaints from me there. I will try that in a week or two to see if my truck shows up on the FordPass.

Is it just me or are there bare wires coming out of the connector of the yellow (orange?) wire that couples with the red positive wire? Looks like a scary short to ground possibility. I would not be happy with the dealer doing this to my truck.
